LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts presents the 30th Annual Mahaska Whitley Student Art Exhibition & Senior Portfolio Competition

30th Annual Mahaska Whitley High School Show

March 3 – 25, 2017

Over 170 Leon County High School students present their work in a professional, gallery setting. Works consist of all media, and judges select winners in all categories. Scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding senior portfolios. A “must see” fresh and inspiring exhibition. This year up to $3,500 will be awarded to the show winners, $2,500 of that being given to the top senior portfolio winners. This year LeMoyne received a $2,000 grant from Staples 2 Million and Change program that went towards funding larger scholarships for the senior portfolio winners. “Our goal is to really jump start these young artist’s career and we can do this by helping fund their college tuition,” said Alexandra Ifland, Education Director of LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts.
