LeMoyne Art Education – Open Positions

LeMoyne Arts Summer Camp Instructors

LeMoyne Art Education is looking for creative, driven, and inspiring teachers for the 2018 Summer Art Camp.  Applicants should email their resume/cv, images of their work, and if available images of their previous student’s work to education@lemoyne.org. should be advised that information regarding dates, times, and themes can be found on our website at www.lemoyne.org (click on the “Education & Camps” tab).  All positions are seasonal, part-time. Pay is $10.50 an hour, instructors are given an individual membership to LeMoyne for the calendar year. (*This can count as a paid internship, if cleared through your administration, for students of FSU, FAMU, and TCC.*)

Decorative Arts AM:  Teaches two different classes (8:45- 10:15 & 10:30-12:00), with students ranging from 9-12 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 2D art methods including collage, mixed media, fiber arts, printmaking, etc.

Decorative Arts PM:  Teaches two different classes (1:45- 3:15 & 3:30-5:00), with students ranging from 6-9 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 2D art methods including collage, mixed media, fiber arts, printmaking, etc.

2D Arts AM: Teaches two different classes (8:45- 10:15 & 10:30-12:00), with students ranging from 9-12 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 2D art methods with a focus on drawing and painting fundamentals/techniques.

2D Arts PM: Teaches two different classes (1:45- 3:15 & 3:30-5:00), with students ranging from 6-9 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 2D art methods with a focus on drawing and painting fundamentals/techniques.

3-D AM: Teaches two different classes (8:45- 10:15 & 10:30-12:00), with students ranging from 6-9 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 3D art methods including sculpture, assemblage, paper-mache, etc.

3-D PM: Teaches two different classes (1:45- 3:15 & 3:30-5:00), with students ranging from 9-12 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in a variety of 3D art methods including sculpture, assemblage, paper-mache, etc.

Ceramics AM: Teaches two different classes (8:45- 10:15 & 10:30-12:00), with students ranging from 6-9 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in ceramic art methods with a focus on the fundamentals/techniques of working with clay, specific tools, and glazes.

Ceramics PM: Teaches two different classes (1:45- 3:15 & 3:30-5:00), with students ranging from 9-12 years old.  Ideal candidates are proficient in ceramic art methods with a focus on the fundamentals/techniques of working with clay, specific tools, and glazes.

 

Open Positions for Teen Foundations 2018:

Mixed Media: Teaches one class for five separate two week sessions (please see catalog on website for dates and session themes).  Students ages 13-17, one class with no more than 10 students.  Ideal candidates have an extensive knowledge and evident skill of mixed media techniques.

Drawing & Painting: Teaches one class for five separate two week sessions (please see catalog on website for dates and session themes).  Students ages 13-17, one class with no more than 10 students. Ideal candidates have an extensive knowledge and evident skill of various drawing and painting techniques.

 

Summer Camp Assistants

LeMoyne Art Education is looking for creative, driven, and inspiring assistants for the 2017 Summer Art Camp.  Applicants should email their resume/cv, images of their work, and if available images of their previous student’s work to education@lemoyne.org. Please send your information in no later than Monday, April 10th at 5:00 p.m.  Applicants should be advised that information regarding dates, times, and themes can be found on our website at www.lemoyne.org (click on the “Art Education” tab).  All positions are seasonal, part-time. Pay is $8.50 an hour. (*This can count as a paid internship, if cleared through your administration, for students of FSU, FAMU, and TCC.*)

Assistants will help maintain the building during camp, help teachers, interact with kids during snack and free time, along with other duties that may arise.

Applicants must be flexible for morning or afternoon shifts.
