Call for Artists – Proposals to Exhibit
LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts is inviting artists to participate in a Call for Proposal to exhibit during the 2015 -2016 calendar years.
Submissions must be original and completed without supervision by an instructor in a class or a workshop, all artwork must be suitable for professional presentation. LeMoyne seeks to select a calendar of representational fine art that exemplifies the utmost in excellence in terms of composition, technique, mastery of medium and quality of design. The final selection will showcase a diverse group of representational artists.
Open to all artists at least 18 years of age, who are working in the fine arts and fine crafts.
A non-refundable entry fee of $35.00 is required and at least three JPEGS that are representational of your work. Payment by check, money order, or credit card (visa, master card or Discover), payable to Lemoyne Center for the Visual Arts (LeMoyne CVA).
The proposals may be for a single artist show, organization show (such as a guild) Individual artists, not requesting a one person show, be matched at the discretion of the curator with other artists in a collaborative exhibit. The exhibits run an average of four weeks, and include an opening reception, postcard announcement, press coverage, banner to advertise the show and social media.

Please include artist bio, artist statement and proposal for your exhibit, CD with at least three representational images of your work, a check for $35.00 made out to LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts, 125 N. Gadsden Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301
Please submit all entries by June 1, 2014.
The work hung must be for sale.
Sales are on a consignment basis of 60/40, 60% to the artist 40% commission will be retained for LeMoyne CVA.
All accepted artwork must be delivered to LeMoyne CVA, at artists cost.
Return shipping must be prepaid, NO COD.
DATES AND DEADLINES
If selected, artists will work with the curator/director to arrange a specific exhibition date. Dates and deadlines will be assigned at that time.
