Christmas Joy Paper CreationsJoin us for an introductory class to paper arts. We will be creating 3 pieces to make your holiday gift giving more festive- a holiday gift bag, a snowy serenity greeting card and a 3D Christmas tree gift tag. During this class you will be learning to use a die cutting machine, a stamping platform, cross locking tweezers and a microtip glue bottle while learning to dry emboss, stamp with success, paper piecing while not making a mess with glue. Paper patterns and colors may vary from photo.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORJEANNE SCHROEDER
Jeanne Schroeder recently retired from Swift Creek Middle School having been the art teacher there for 15 years, where she was able to share a love of all things artistic with her students. Jeanne is a native of Chicago, also having lived in Lebanon, Ohio, Milford, Michigan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Thomasville, Georgia before settling in Tallahassee 22 years ago. She is married with 2 grown children including a son who teaches at Lincoln, and 2 grandchildren. Other passions include culinary arts which she taught at Swift Creek for 11 years. She travels whenever possible – Florence, Italy being a favorite city. Just ask, she will tell of her adventures. Jeanne claims paper crafting to be her COVID craft. While being home during covid is when she really dug into this form of art and truly began to enjoy the wide range of items that can be crafted with paper, glue, and a pair of scissors, which expanded into so much more. |
