Gelli Printing & Collage WorkshopThis fun and easy printing process is done with acrylic paint on a Gel printing plate. The prints are easily transferred to paper and can then be used to make greeting cards, collages, or enjoyed as paintings.
The morning session of this one-day workshop will be spent making prints on the gelli plate and transferred to paper. make as many as you want! The afternoon will focus on creating collages with the prints you have made and other media such as ink pens, magazine pictures and Conte’ crayon. Students will go home with as many as 10 prints and 2 art works created in the afternoon. All supplies included in tuition! Students will be provided with a 5x7 inch rectangle gelli plate, but are welcome to source their own additional sizes and shapes if interested. |

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORNINA ALLEN FREEMAN
Nina Freeman is an experimental Watercolor and acrylic artist. She holds a BA in studio Art and a Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. She was the president of the Tallahassee Watercolor Society and currently holds signature status in Tallahassee Watercolor Society, Acrylic Painters, USA, Florida Watercolor Society and the International Society of Experimental Artists. Her work was recently exhibited in the Firehouse Gallery in Bainbridge, GA and Sage Restaurant, Tallahassee. She has won awards in many exhibitions, most recently the International Society of Experimental Artists in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, 2023. She has taught art at LeMoyne since 2015. |
