Mixed Level Wheel Throwing WednesdaysThis 8-week mixed-level wheel throwing class is available for students at all levels. Students new to throwing will learn the process of making pots on the wheel from start to finish including wedging, centering, throwing basic shapes, trimming, and glazing. Students with prior wheel throwing experience will have the opportunity to practice their skills while working on personal goals and hurdles.
Demos and class instruction will vary based on the skill level and interests of the students. Class discussions will include clay, glaze, equipment, safety, tools, and the fi ring process to provide students with a fuller understanding of the pottery process. Experience Level: Beginner, Beginner Plus, Intermediate No prior clay experience required. Student work will be available for pick up 1-3 weeks after the end of class. Enrollment includes one 25 lb. bag of clay! |
