Creative PhotographyThis course is designed to accommodate a wide range of skill sets - those who either have photography experience and are hoping to advance their creative practice or the casual phone photographer hoping to gain deeper expertise.
We will be focusing on both what it means to develop a creative practice in relationship to photography as well as furthering technical skills. The assignments are meant to serve as prompts for your own creative experimentation and class time will be used for sharing, discussion and critique. Be prepared to do some work outside of class. |

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORCHRIS CAMERON
Chris Cameron is a drawer and digital media artist who is always looking for new ways to translate between digital and physical media. He is interested in abstraction and the ways in which representation and language shape our lives. The body and body movement have been consistent themes in his work and have led to an interest in dance and performance (or maybe vice versa). He works as a photographer, videographer and documentarian of dance at the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography at Florida State University’s School of Dance. Cameron received his BFA in Studio Art from FSU. |
