Teen Digital Illustration
This course will teach the fundamentals of digital illustration in Adobe Photoshop. Students will learn the elements of art, how to operate and configure their pen and tablets, and how to use Photoshop for all stages of the illustration process. They will also learn how to use various tools and effects in Photoshop (creating brushes, layer blending, filters, etc.).
The final product of this course will be an 8.5” x 11” illustration at 300 dpi from each student in attendance. Each illustration will display the student's grasp of linework, color, and shading. Students will work on their art pieces congruently, but they will be a fully individual effort.
