Teen Create Your Main CharacterThis is an anime drawing class focusing on character design! Students will learn the key stylistic elements of anime and develop a character in their own unique anime inspired styles. Then students will put what they’ve learned into practice to tell a story through their characters.
Students will be provided with a prompt list that the class will follow to help bring the characters and stories to life! Students are encouraged but not required to bring a sketchbook with them to class! |

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORSHARECE REMBERT
Sharece Rembert aka Recee is a Florida-based Illustrator and designer. A graduate of Florida State University, Sharece earned a degree in Studio Art with a minor in Film, reflecting her passion for storytelling through visual language. Drawing inspiration from both anime, contemporary design and classic artistic techniques, Sharece creates engaging visuals that evoke emotion and narrative, whether through illustration, branding, or design projects. Her work is a testament to her deep connection to both the visual arts and the cinematic world. Her artistic style is characterized by vibrant colors, fantastical or surreal characters that blend fantasy with reality and narratives that invite viewers into a world of imagination and emotion. Whether it's a whimsical creature from a fantasy world or a relatable figure from everyday life, She strives to imbue her characters with personality and depth, inviting viewers to connect with them on a personal level. |
