CARTOON AND COMIC ILLUSTRATION (ages 6-12)
Learn to tell stories, explain concepts, or make people laugh with this broad foundations and skills class focused on cartoons and comics. You'll learn the basic tools and format of comics and graphic novels by drawing from life, creating imaginary creatures, character development, exaggeration, scene-setting, and storyboarding. You'll use different mediums to develop concepts and characters, from pencil and ink to paint and clay. We'll cover a wide range of foundational techniques for you to build on! All ages welcome.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Elizabeth Davis is a full-time photographer, illustrator, and writer. She has been the owner/operator of Elizabeth Davis Photography here in Tallahassee for over a decade and is currently working with a literary agent to publish several children's books. She loves helping people of all ages to develop their creative interests.
