LeMoyne Arts is excited to offer field trips to students looking to experience local art at its finest!

Students of all ages are welcomed to the LeMoyne Arts campus for a guided tour through the current gallery exhibit, where information about the artists, art and show is shared with students and discussed. This tour gives students the opportunity to view contemporary artists within the Tallahassee community and engage with the artwork while teaching them to read and appreciate fine art in a gallery setting.
Field trips to LeMoyne Arts include a related art making experience lead by a seasoned artist instructor, and are intended to reinforce the themes, styles, and elements of art present in the exhibit providing a comprehensive art experiential. This art making allows students to reflect on the exhibit they’ve viewed, practice a new technique or media, and explore their own identities as artists. All activities are customized to the students visit, and can be planned prior to the visit to supplement current art curriculum. |

Field trips are offered for a fee calculated using number of participants, duration, staffing needs, and chosen activities. Field trips generally start at $10 per participant, and include gallery admission, an exhibit scavenger hunt and hands on art making activity.
