Below is a sample list of supplies that may be needed for the course, based on past offerings. The instructor may require different materials, and will supply their own recommendations to enrolled students.

Basic Drawing Materials
Other Drawing Materials (will be discussed in class)
- Charcoal pencils set including soft, medium, and hard
- Vine charcoal sticks set, medium range
- Lead drawing pencil set including No 2B, 4B, 6B, 2H, and 4H
- Conte drawing sticks(set)
- If you cannot find these - don’t worry they will be discussed in class.
- Newsprint drawing pad 18”x 24” (or similar size)
- Strathmore (other brands okay) 400 series drawing paper pad - 14x17 (or larger)
Other Drawing Materials (will be discussed in class)
- Small pastel set (soft or hard)
- Small colored pencil set
- Vellum Bristol drawing pad 11x14” (or similar size)
- Pastel drawing paper - any color, around 18x24 (we will work with this paper later in the class session so we will discuss it before you buy)
