As you pass through the gate, you are entering the Carmel “Kelly” Simmons Dozier Garden — home of Tallahassee’s only sculpture art garden tour. Created through the vision, leadership, and hands-on landscaping by Kelly S. Dozier, the newly expanded garden at LeMoyne Arts embraces and honors the contributions of those who have made a positive impact on LeMoyne through the years. The new design and expansion have updated accessibility and functionality, as well as bringing in a diverse array of native plantings, shade trees, water management features, and room for new sculptures and murals. The Carmel Simmons Dozier Garden is dedicated to the honor of the vision and tenacity of Carmel “Kelly” Dozier, who brought about the 21st-century renaissance of this historic Tallahassee treasure.
