Ft. Donald Davis and Lei Snelling

Joy & Excellence is an exhibit in recognition of Black History Month featuring artists Donald Davis & Lei Snelling and showcasing works from local and regional artists of color. This exhibit is a space for people of color to celebrate identity, culture, and self-expression as we continue to work towards equality.

35th Mahaska Whitley Student Exhibition: ​High School Art & Senior Portfolio Competition

LeMoyne Arts celebrates the 35th year of the Mahaska Whitley Student Exhibition: High School Art and Senior Portfolio Competition. This Tallahassee tradition gives high school students from across Leon County the opportunity to display their artwork in a gallery setting and gain recognition for their hard work and talent. Awards, including college scholarships, are determined by a panel of judges from the local collegiate art programs. Ms. Whitley, a retired art teacher and co-founder of the exhibit, selects a piece to receive the Founder’s Award. The goal of the Mahaska Whitley Student Exhibition is to encourage young people to pursue a creative career and to continue their love of art!

Recycled Beauty, featuring Lana Shuttleworth, is an exhibit celebrating artists who repurpose materials to make exciting new artwork. LeMoyne is collaborating with Sustainable Tallahassee to celebrate Earth Day & LeMoyne’s continued green initiative, just in time for the Chain of Parks Art Festival!

Nature’s Gems

Featuring Quincie Hamby, Rene Lynch, and Anne Hempel

Nature’s Gems, featuring jeweler Quincie Hamby, and painters Rene Lynch and Anne Hempel, is a romantic jewelry show accented by paintings and drawings of flora and fauna.

Featuring Stanley Johnson, Cynthia Rose, and Katie Clark

Focused Moments, featuring photography and poetry by Stanley Johnson, Cynthia Rose and Katie Clark emphasizes the need to focus on the moments that bring beauty, peace, and joy to our souls. These photos and poems are a testament to the beauty that is all around us.

BREWtiful Designs

in partnership with PROOF Brewing Co.

BREWtiful Designs is an exciting can-art label competition, judged by PROOF Brewing Co., during the Focused Moments exhibit. The winning can-artwork will be featured on a custom beer by PROOF!

Featuring Dan Taylor

Beam with PRIDE, featuring Dan Taylor, will be an exhibit that celebrates LGBTQ+ History month! This fabulous exhibit will focus on LGBTQ+ related themes and provide support for this community in an artistic way. This exhibit is kindly sponsored by Rachel Borntreger, Marital & Family Law.
