LeMoyne Arts Presents Funkadelic Visions Featuring the Artwork of George Clinton

LeMoyne Arts is proud to present Funkadelic Visions, an electrifying exhibition featuring the vibrant paintings of legendary funk pioneer George Clinton. On view Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, June 27, the exhibition offers audiences a rare look into Clinton’s visual world, one that mirrors the bold imagination, color, and cultural impact that made him a revolutionary force in music.

Best known for transforming the sound and spirit of funk, Clinton brings the same uninhibited creativity to his paintings. Funkadelic Visions showcases a collection of expressive works that blend psychedelic imagery, cosmic symbolism, and playful storytelling. Through vivid color and energetic composition, Clinton invites viewers into a universe where music, art, and cultural identity collide.Alongside Clinton’s work, the exhibition will also highlight pieces by local supporting artists, creating a dynamic dialogue between an internationally celebrated cultural icon and the creative voices shaping the Tallahassee arts community today.
