Plein Air Painting
Wednesday

6:00PM - 8:00PM

Plein Air Painting
Plein Air painting is a term used to describe the act of painting outdoors. This class will introduce the student to the art of painting landscapes outdoors. In this class, we will work partly in the LeMoyne Arts gardens and the buildings in that area. Later we will decide with the other class members if we want to try some other location(s).
Students in this class will create paintings using an easel created for outdoor use and paint on-site using acrylic paint. We will work using a variety of different tools, including acrylic paint, brushes, canvas, drawing pads and painting mediums. The class will require the student to purchase some equipment and supplies.
