Stained Glass Mosaic (6/10 - 7/1)
A mosaic is a surface decoration made up of closely set, usually variously colored, small pieces of glass, tile, ceramic, or stone. In this class students will construct their own one of a kind mosaic using a design of their choice. Everyone will learn to safely cut or break the glass then assemble pieces on a flat surface using glue and grout.
Want to make a unique design? Plan on a 5" x 7" rectangle and bring multiple copies of your design to class!
All needed materials and tools are supplied, although students may bring other objects (pebbles, ceramic pieces, etc.). Safety gear will be provided (gloves and face masks).

Shea Webb
Shea Webb has been working with stained glass for five years, skillfully modifying patterns and transforming them into unique steppingstones from the ground up. She honed her craft through dedicated study with instructor Andrew Miller and the guidance of her two mentors: Rita Riccardi of Glass Impressions New York and Carol Webb of C3 Studios Inc. Georgia (no relation). Shea is passionate about using art as a form of self-expression, believing that creativity offers a unique and meaningful way to explore individual talents.
