Art Class Supply Lists
Below is a sample list of supplies that may be needed for the course, based on past offerings. The instructor may require different materials, and will supply their own recommendations to enrolled students.
Supplies may be purchased at local craft stores, or at online retailers like Blick Art Materials.
Oil Painting Supply List

Watercolor & More! Supply List

1 sheet of watercolor paper; 20” x 30” Arches brand, 140 lb. either hot press or cold press

Minimum 3 high quality paintbrushes

Two “rounds”, one large # 8 or # 10 brush and one small #1 brush

One “flat” 1 or 2 inch brush

​Tubes of watercolor paint, from Winsor-Newton, M. Graham and Rembrandt brands. A small tube of watercolor paint will last a long time.

​Colors should include tubes of Azo or Hansa Yellow, Alizarine Red, and Pthalo Blue (also known as Winsor Blue)

Additional colors may include tubes of Sap Green, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, and Cadmium Red

One tube of white Gouache paint (an opaque water-based paint)

A small bottle of masking fluid
