Wreathmaking for Any Reason and Season Workshop
Don’t know what to do with those hundreds of wine corks you’ve been saving, or those shells you keep bringing home from the beach? Have a collection of small bits and bobs you know have creative potential? Use them to make a unique wreath to take home or gift!
In this 3-hour workshop we will assemble unique wreaths from found objects on a provided frame (18” wire of 14” grapevine). Supplies are included in tuition, but students are encouraged to bring corks, shells, and other objects they’d like to turn into a decorative wreath.
This workshop is best suited for adults, and teens attending with an adult. No art making experience needed!

Meet the Instructor
Mary Jo Spector
Mary Jo Spector is an architect by training and profession and a working artist. She trained as an architect at Penn State, where she squeezed in as many art classes as she could manage between architecture classes.
Mary Jo grew up in Pittsburgh and went to architecture school at Penn State. She currently works at FSU as a project manager with a focus on lab and research projects. She is also an artist with a primary interest in pen and ink drawings but dabbles in other media as the mood strikes. She is a huge supporter of the arts and is in her third term of serving on the board at LeMoyne.
