Thank you for your interest in LeMoyne Arts.
The mission of LeMoyne Arts is to promote and advance education, interest, and participation in the contemporary visual arts. You can be a part of the legacy by representing your works and sharing your voice with the community.
Created in 1963, LeMoyne Arts (LeMoyne) has sought to enhance Tallahassee’s quality of life by showcasing outstanding local, regional, national and international artists year-round. Our distinctive visual art exhibits and permanent collection of artworks both educate our visitors and inspire them to purchase art to enrich their lives. We foster the careers of professional and aspiring artists through the sale of their artworks, with the artists and LeMoyne sharing proceeds on a 60/40 consignment, 60% going to the artist and 40% to the gallery, and through artist Gallery Talks and classes. To broaden appreciation and understanding of the visual arts, we design high-quality educational programs to draw our participants into artistic projects. To ensure that all people can enjoy LeMoyne’s educational offerings, we provide open access to exhibits and offer competitive and needs-based scholarships. LeMoyne actively seeks collaboration and cooperation with other community and arts organizations. With a focus on programs that serve a large constituency. |
