Whether you are hosting an intimate gathering inside the historic 1854 Meginnis-Munroe House, a grand celebration in our beautifully renovated Carmel "Kelly" Simmons Dozier Garden, or a creative meeting in our modern XOJ Salon, our unique venue provides a vibrant, artistic backdrop for any occasion.

LeMoyne offers 3 unique event spaces to suit any celebration, whether it's a graduation dinner in the gallery, a wedding in the garden, or a corporate luncheon in the XOJ Salon. Each space offers its own unique capabilities and can be easily adapted to make your vision come to life.

GARDENS
XOJ SALON & COURTYARD
Built in 1854, the historic Meginnis-Munroe House offers a warm, inviting setting for smaller events. The gallery features original hardwood floors, intimate exhibition rooms, and a large front porch, allowing your guests to mingle comfortably while enjoying our current art exhibits. It is an ideal space for cocktail hours, dinner parties, bridal and baby showers, and small social or corporate gatherings. Rental of the space includes access to the indoor exhibit rooms, the Gallery Shop, the spacious front porch, and the Baldwin-Saunders Mise-en-Place Kitchen. A Bluetooth sound system for music is also available upon request. Guests can flow easily between the indoor galleries and the porch, making the Meginnis-Munroe House a unique, relaxed backdrop for your event. Seated Capacity: ~35
Renovated and expanded in 2022, the Carmel "Kelly" Simmons Dozier Garden is a beautiful and highly versatile outdoor venue. Even though it is located in the middle of downtown Tallahassee, the garden feels like a private, peaceful retreat—almost like a secret garden. The space is home to six dedicated gardens and fifteen sculptures from our permanent collection, offering a unique, artistic backdrop for any occasion. Highly adaptable with a variety of different event layout options, the garden is the perfect setting for everything from large outdoor celebrations to intimate gatherings. Rental of the space also includes access to our Studios event support spaces, such as accessible restrooms and a large warming kitchen. Seated Capacity: ~200

The XOJ Salon features original hardwood floors, a built-in wet bar, and smart TV capabilities, with direct access to a large catering kitchen for seamless hosting. Its private, shaded brick patio tucked beneath sweeping oaks and Japanese magnolias makes it a dream backdrop for small showers, corporate retreats, and cozy celebrations. Seated Capacity: ~20 inside, more outside
Weddings
LeMoyne offers a beautiful and unique setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and showers. Its historic feel, with private gardens, creates an intimate atmosphere right in the heart of downtown Tallahassee.

Where do guests park?
Guests may park in the empty lot across from the Gallery, as well as Capital City Bank's lower lot. Street parking is also available.
Does LeMoyne provide tables and chairs?
Unfortunately, LeMoyne does not have the capacity to provide tables and chairs at this time. A list of recommended local vendors can be supplied.
Is there a rental deposit?
A $500 refundable deposit is required to secure your event's date. It must be paid in cash or by check.
What if I want to rent more than one event space?
Renters may choose between our 3 wonderful venues or rent a combination of them. A small discount is applied when renting more than one space.
