Exploring ArtThis course will allow young artists to explore a variety of art materials and techniques. Every other week we will dive into a different material to learn about it’s history, uses and famous artists associated with it. The following week students will be guided in creating their own unique piece of art with the skills and techniques we’ve learned. Materials will be provided and include graphite pencils/charcoal, oil pastels, markers (pointillism), and watercolor.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORKyle Maurey
Kyle Maurey is a Tallahassee born artist who loves illustration. She studied at Savannah College of Art and Design before returning to teach art in town. Her hobbies include spending time in nature and with her dog Challah and her foster cats. She loves to create and share all types artistic adventures including watercolor, acrylics and drawing.
