Nikki Ackerman

Nikki Ackerman (artxnikki) is a watercolor artist based in Tallahassee, FL. Nikki has been painting as long as she has been able to hold a brush and now owns a brick and mortar studio/retail space locally in Railroad Square Art District. Originally from Western New York, Nikki moved to Tallahassee in 2015 to attend college at Florida State University; she graduated with a BA in Studio Art in 2019. With an everlasting love for her alma mater, Nikki is a licensed Florida State University artist and creates art prints and licensed goods from her original watercolors- featuring nostalgic themes of campus and school pride. In addition to her licensed FSU merchandise, Nikki works closely with many departments and colleges at FSU on custom projects featuring her work. This past year, Nikki teamed up with FSU Admissions and designed an exclusive poster that was sent along with each acceptance letter to all of the accepted Class of 2027 students. Much of Nikki's art focuses on the local community here in Tallahassee, featuring iconic architecture and themes of North Florida. Nikki plans to continue growing her licensed collegiate goods venture, designing more product lines for her own store, as well as licensing her art to other companies
