Diane Sams

Diane Sams was born at Lady of the Lake Hospital, and some say it was an omen of her desire to translate the magical realms into art that speaks to everyone. Her backyard is a sanctuary for birds and critters, and her cats allow her to share the house. She spent most of her early days in Venezuela, and art has always been an underlying thread of her life. At 18 she started selling paintings to tourists on the streets of Torremolinos, Spain. After returning to the states and obtaining a ‘practical job’ as a dental technician, she soon realized she get by just fine making jewelry instead of cleaning teeth.
