Introduction to IllustrationIn this class students will learn about the history of illustration, as well as its contemporary and historical use and impact on pop culture. Portraiture and figure drawing will be taught to give students a strong anatomical foundation for drawing their comic characters. During the course of the class students will learn to use, oil pastels, acrylic paint, pen and ink, and watercolor. Students will also create their own book covers, posters, character designs, and short comics.
