In this youth art class we will explore the possibilities of paper art, learning techniques and building the skills needed for creating both 2D and 3D works of art. Students will create a handful of masterpieces while gaining mastery of a new media, and becoming fluent in the elements and principles of art. |

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORKylie Nerney
Kylie is a graduate of FSU, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the university’s Art Therapy program. As an artist and arts facilitator, she is passionate about engagement with the arts in the Tallahassee community. She has been with LeMoyne Arts for over ten years, and during that time has worked closely with the education branch of the organization, and gained as many years of experience fostering a love for art in young artists. When at home, Kylie spends her time with her dog Frankie, creating artwork using a variety of media, with a focus on paper collage, and painting.
