Silk Painting with guest artist Beth CoxDuring this class each student will have the opportunity to create their own one-of-a-kind hand painted silk scarf. Various dye applications will be covered in this fun class. The dyes are heat set and easy to use!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORBeth Cox
Beth Cox's glass-working career started with a traditional stained glass class. She then continued on to study design, fusing, casting/pate de vere, kiln construction, lampworking, and glass blowing. Now, she lives in Escanaba, MI where she gives glass blowing demonstrations and teaches workshops at the Historic Steam & Gas Village. She makes a living by teaching workshops around the country, restoring stained glass, and selling new fused and cast glass pieces in numerous galleries. |
