ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORIsabella Parra
Isabella Parra is a Colombian American artist based in Tallahassee. While seeking a career in animation and storyboarding full-time, she currently works as a freelance artist and instructor. She studied at Suffolk County Community College in Riverhead, New York, and got her A.A.S. degree with a focus on game development, 3D animation, and 2D animation. She does commission-based work ranging from album covers to scientific journal illustrations and aspires to work for a studio in the future. Her favorite mediums to work with are watercolor and digital art. She loves to travel, hike, do urban sketching, and take care of her bearded dragon Reggie. She is excited to share her knowledge and teach her students the best methods and techniques to improve their art. She hopes to see those in her class grow as artists and become more confident as the course progresses.
